New Layout - Again
I have changed my layout to one of the brand new "Expressive" styles. I like the "Tags" cloud at the bottom. It seems to be based on the Component style. SEEN HERE: http://www.livejournal.com/customize/themes.bml?layout=7176168

I have been adding to my friends list and I have updated my user profile. A lot of profiles I've seen are clever or mysterious, mine is neither.

Change is good.

I like the new layout. It makes me want to tweak mine, too. :-)

I just checked out your 1968 photos and wanted to comment on them. I love the way your bedroom looked! And I love the wedding photos. They're fantastic. Especially given that you were only, what, 14 when you took them?

That camera? I have the same exact one! I have a picture of myself using it when I was about 8 and I still have it.

1968 was a great year! I should know, as it was the year I was born. :-)

Er...I just realized I ought to add that I know that a lot of really bad things happened in 1968, too. I was being silly, really, saying it was a great year because it was the year I was born. Then I remembered Martin Luther King, and Robert Kennedy, and the Democratic Convention and Vietnam, and...

I was thrilled when I found the 1968 bedroom pictures. There were so many things I had forgotten.

I changed my layout back to Component. I love the Expressive motifs, but I like my journal entries and elements in boxes.

I think I might change mine back again too...I am trying one of the new styles and am not sure I like it yet. Ah well, change is fun and good, and can always change back again.

I wish I had more pics of my childhood bedroom. I have a few, though, at least.

This is one reason why I now, as an adult, photograph my home surroundings frequently through the years--I know I am going to forget. And I love seeing photographs of people's home environments, especially family and friends, from the past--it really tells you a lot, just a simple photo.
